H is for Handsome

ABC Wednesday

H is for .......Handsome

Here is my very Handsome dog Tucker. Tucker is a Border Collie-Schipperke mix. Both of these breeds are herding dogs which makes for a very energetic pet. We don't live on a farm so Tucker uses his skills to chase squirrels, children, snowmobiles, and tennis balls.

He absolutely loves tennis balls. He will bounce them and catch them, chase them around the house and sometimes just lie there squishing them in his mouth.

H is also for Helpful.

Here he is helping Cali wait for the mailman.

H is for Handfull

He can be quite a handfull. He has destroyed my window sheers, most of my throw cushions and loves to chew anything with a wooden or plastic handle and he will steal food if it isn't out of reach. But he is also the sweetest, most loving, full of personality dog I have ever known. He is my constant companion when I am snowshoeing, hiking, going for a leisurely walk or just chilling out in front of the T.V.

If you would like to see how talented he is, check out his singing video H is also for Howling. However if you watch the video clip I think you will agree that he is singing, not howling.

I wasn't able to click up the singing video, but I do agree he is very handsome. He also looks a bit dangerous with that knife!

I went to the singing video and agree that he is definitely singing! I had a herding dog once (of indeterminate breed) who would herd anything including pigeons (without startling them into flight. I could even tell him to keep a group of small children from wandering into the street and he would keep the group on the sidewalk (and closely packed together whether they wished it or not!) Wonderful photos of a dog with personality.

Aw, how sweet he is! One of mine used to love to 'sing' - he would do it if you asked him, and joined in. I miss that dog!

Does he help you to cook? Or is the knife part of his watchdog uniform? LOL!

That video is hilarious. He IS a very talented dog. Was he waiting for the mailman with that knife? Looks pretty dangerous. 'Armed to his teeth'. Great dog. And that video inspired me to write a post. Thanks!

That is one seriously gorgeous dog! I'll have to come back to the video, as hubby's just settled in front of the TV, but Tucker is such a poser!

Aww, handsome for sure! He looks pretty intimidating with such a large knife in his mouth, though. I'd probably have a fit if I caught my dog carrying one around! I love his singing - what a character! :D

Oh My! He is such a handsome boy! I have a border collie/ aussie cross and he is a a handful too. He loves to chase kids, small critters, large critters, the mailman...hehehehe. He is the biggest helper I've ever had- he loves to help me feed, fix things, take walks, literally everything. Where I go, Max goes. I adore him but his energy level wears me out!
Thanks for sharing your wonderful dog!
